Production zone and exposure | The vines are located in the town of Prepotto, Province of Udine, at 160 m above sea level with a south eastern exposure. |

Vinification | Destemming and pressing of the grapes followed by maceration for more than a week with daily delestage. The malolactic fermentation is completed in wood. |
Maturing and aging | In stainless steel tanks and barriques for two cycles for around 11 months. Further aging in the bottle for a few months before sale. |
Other curiosities
The wine is unmistakable for its ruby red or violet colour and grassy aromas. During aging fruity and spicy notes of green pepper and nutmeg emerge. The wine has an austere, imposing body and a graceful tannin content.
